Mandy Nice is the President and Founder of The NICE Life, LLC, an award-winning corporate wellness firm that applies practical, affordable, science-based solutions to improve physical strength and resilience.  She is also the past Wellness Manager of Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, where her program success was featured in three prestigious publications, the FBI National Academy Associate Magazine (Nov 2016) and The Police Chief Magazine (May 2017 and May 2018) of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).  Along with serving as an Expert Panel Speaker on Building Resiliency at the 2017 annual IACP Conference, she has presented wellness strategies with measurable results at many other annual law enforcement conferences of health, risk management and workers’ compensation.

Mandy’s program effectiveness stems from thirteen years of providing services to over 40 organizations of all sizes and types, from law enforcement agencies to city, county and state governments, to many Fortune 500 companies.  Her mission is offering affordable solutions that motivate employees towards better health choices that reduce illness, stress and injuries, while improving ergonomics, physical fitness, nutrition, sleep quality, energy, stress management and productivity.

Mandy was honored to have been mentored by the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  She’s a graduate of the IACP Women’s Leadership Institute, editor for the National Strength and Conditioning Association quarterly Tactical Strength and Conditioning Report, member of the National Tactical Officers Association, faculty member of the Wellness Council of America and a Certified Instructor by the State of Florida Commission on Criminal Justice Standards & Training and FDLE. She also holds a Certification in Personal Training from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and designation as Master Personal Trainer from the National Personal Training Institute.

She is passionate about adopting best practices from the International Association of Chiefs of Police, NSCA’s Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC), American Journal of Health Promotion, Wellness Council of America, Health Enhancement Research Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Her wellness management skills enabled a recent employer to earn prestigious worksite wellness awards, including the American Heart Association’s “Gold” (1 of 75 nationwide, Forbes Magazine 100th Anniversary Issue) and Orlando Business Journal’s 2017 “Healthiest Employer Honoree.”  Among other awards for wellness services, Mandy also received a national Community Service Award from the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.

Seeing positive results in her clients is her greatest motivator.  Integrating wellness into charitable events is particularly rewarding, such as the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, Stephen Siller Tunnels to Towers 5K, Champions Ride for Charities and the Florida Tour de Force.  She recently represented law enforcement and won 3 gold medals in rowing at the Florida Police & Fire Games.  She also enjoys 5K’s and has placed first 18 times in the past 7 years.  She is fully dedicated to optimizing the strength and health of each individual, group and employee population that she has the honor of serving.
